For an evening of reflection on the last 70 years of culture from the perspective of writer Murray Watts.

In this new film which is about to be launched into the world, Murray walks us through his own life experience and creative work in an attempt to answer the question, 'How Did We Get Here?’ He examines broad changes in culture and the particular role of the arts in shaping the society we live in.

The film has been created by filmmakers Fionn and Toby Watts (Far North Film) as a 'proof of concept' for further documentary collaborations with Murray.  

​

The evening will include a Q&A and discussion with Murray, Fionn and Toby where we explore topics such as:

• The power of film in an ever-changing world 

• The role of the artist to help lead and guide cultural renewal

• Art and the refinement of critical thinking and spirituality
