The Highland Council turned down this application in 2006, but recently Murray Watts and representatives of the Trust have had to join with the Highland Council and Caithness Wind Information Forum (CWIF) in defending the original planning decision. NPower Renewables appealed against it, and recently the Reporter appointed by the Scottish Goverbnebt ruled in their favour.
