Welcome
The Wayfarer Trust (SC 027212) was set up in 1997 to support artists and writers through conferences, exhibitions, retreats and other activities, in association with Murray Watts and Freswick Castle. Ultimately it seeks to empower an international community of artists to engage in culture and its renewal through creative excellence, professional integrity and spiritual inspiration.
The Trust has a guest cottage at Freswick Castle, where visitors can stay, and this also houses the extensive Wayfarer Trust Library on the arts, psychology, natural history, science, theology and spirituality. This is available for interested persons by arrangement with Murray Watts (thewayfarertrust@aol.com).

It is chaired by Jock Stein (jstein@handselpress.org.uk) and the other trustees are Jolyon Mitchell, Nicole Smyth, Judith Stevenson and Luke Walton.
